Lallana if full 90 minutes, I'll go Sturridge with the winning goal and looked a threat.

For me it was a toss up between Walker (again, he was my pick for the Russian game) and Sturridge. Sturridges winning goal tipped the balance.

All of Smalling, Cahill, Dier, Rooney, Lallana, Vardy and Sturridge 8/10 but Walker one better. |

I went for Rooney. Completely controlled the midfield today and some excellent crossing and long passes. That role definitely suits him for England as he no longer has the pressure of having to be the one scoring the goals which he is often criticised for in major tournaments.

Kyle Walker was the official man of the match, and I'm delighted for him. He looked a real prospect during the Harry era at Spurs, but then suffered some serious injuries, and at the beginning of the season, I think most were writing him off, as his comeback had looked as though he had completely lost it.
However, he has improved beyond belief again throughout the season, and deserves these accolades now. |

I agree with the comments about Rooney. He has proved a lot of the doom mongers wrong with some excellent performances. The more players in consideration for MOM the better.
