Daniel Sturridge for me.

Poll closes in 3 days and I'll announce the winner when it closes.

Feel free to debate your choices in the thread as well!

Lallana if full 90 minutes, I'll go Sturridge with the winning goal and looked a threat.

I'm not a great Rooney fan normally but he was great today , that new position seems to suit him . Walker was also good , Lallana too ...... Dier disappointed again as did Hart .

Kyle Walker was brilliant today

He reminds of Daniel Alves at his peak

For me it was a toss up between Walker (again, he was my pick for the Russian game) and Sturridge. Sturridges winning goal tipped the balance.

yep, two games running.

All of Smalling, Cahill, Dier, Rooney, Lallana, Vardy and Sturridge 8/10 but Walker one better.

I went for Rooney. Completely controlled the midfield today and some excellent crossing and long passes. That role definitely suits him for England as he no longer has the pressure of having to be the one scoring the goals which he is often criticised for in major tournaments.

Agree. He made more passes than any other England player, far more 'key passes' than any other Eng player (no idea what the defn of a key pass is mind), took good set pieces and had one of our shots on target. But most significantly for me in the 1st half as the Eng players started to go into their shells and we looked like the functional slow tempo rubbish England Rooney was the only one showing real drive to up the tempo with quick positive passing and in effect proper leadership. Never thought id be saying that of Rooney after his recent Eng tournament failures and the average season he's had at United.

Kyle Walker was the official man of the match, and I'm delighted for him. He looked a real prospect during the Harry era at Spurs, but then suffered some serious injuries, and at the beginning of the season, I think most were writing him off, as his comeback had looked as though he had completely lost it.

However, he has improved beyond belief again throughout the season, and deserves these accolades now.

I wouldn't want my nomination of Rooney to suggest I didn't appreciate Walker's performance - I think he has been terrific in both games. Rooney for me edges it because he really has been our captain on the field and has been a very good leader of our many young and less experienced players., as well as putting in two commanding performances in midfield. This is probably Rooney's last chance to gain some success with England and grab some of the adulation withheld from him and he is playing like it. Long may it continue!

I agree with the comments about Rooney. He has proved a lot of the doom mongers wrong with some excellent performances. The more players in consideration for MOM the better.
