Hello! Welcome to series #10 of DS's Next Top Artist hosted by myself, r0ry101. It is hard to believe that this is 10th series but we're back again - and this series will be a celebration of past NTAs. Though we'll be having all new artists, expect some past NTA twists and turns to feature throughout the series!

For those new to the game - here are the rules:

1. Each player mentors two existing artists or band. Both should be an artist or band that has recorded at least 17 different tracks, preferably more (this will vary depending on how many people take part). As I said, any artists previously used in a NTA series are not allowed and any submitted will be rejected.

2. Each show, every mentor nominates a track by their chosen artist or band. Every song is performed by the artist or band on the thread, like in any X Factor game.

3. After the performances, mentors rank each of the songs, excluding their own, from favourite to least favourite. Members of the public can also vote (ranking all the songs).

4. The votes are tallied. The bottom 2 or 3 acts face the jury vote. The mentors then take turns voting to save one of the bottom 2 or 3 (there is no sing off). The act or acts with the least votes are then eliminated.

5. This carries on each show. Eventually, when there are only a few acts left, there will be no jury and only the main votes will count. When there are 2 acts left, everyone votes for the winner, who becomes DS's Next Top Artist!

The trick with this game, is not using all your acts' best songs in the first few weeks. You should pace yourself and save some of the best till last, or you might burn out!

This game requires minimal time so don't worry if you're busy/or have other games. Also all newbies are welcome! The more acts we have the better so please feel free to join!

We have our players and our acts!

Thanks to everyone who has entered for this series. We've got a good group and some interesting acts for sure. Now it's down to business - the live act reveal will be this Thursday June 30th at 7:30 PM. Please try and make it for this time where you can introduce both your acts. If you will not be able to make it - please PM me with a quick bio of your acts and a fabulous picture of them for the launch. There will also be a couple of the other matters to attend to at this launch, so I hope to see you there!

The first live show will be the following Monday (July 4th) where all acts will perform and some hearts will be broken as we say goodbye to our first acts. I will be revealing the first theme TONIGHT to give you some time to start your planning. Be warned, most shows you will not have this luxury of 6 days planning.
