What was all that "The game is changing" crap?
Oh Brother...
16-06-2016
Apart from having a second house. Nothing actually changed at all.

It's not like anything else has changed? Has it?

Nominations- Same
Eviction- Same
Secret Missions- Same
Bestg Pointless Twist- Same

What's the big change?

It was them trying to come up with a theme for the show, once again it was a load of rubbish though. They are full of ****.

I said before the show that I wasn't going to watch if there wasn't an improvement, as such I haven't watched since Friday.

It only changed for the fans , we get no updates and most of what we do get on the BB site are from the day previous .

Even all the tasks have bee done before. Read facts about certain HM's and guess which one it's about, get covered in goop, survive a haunted house answer which housemate is the smelliest, two faced, annoying whilst the people in question watch.

It was just a meaningless slogan.

"Normal" nominations is a change from the face to face messy ones they were trying to get us used to last time. Hope they stay for the most part.

Also "vote to evict", allowing the pains in the neck to be got rid of sooner rather than later, is a good change back to the way it should be.

Otherwise things are much the same, but I have a feeling these new "voices" in the diary room may be a bit more hard on the HMs, which will be good. More discipline is required.

They should feel embarrassed, why whoop it up like that when in essence you don't have anything new to offer.

The game is changing slogsn is just so the production team can make up the show as they go along on a daily basis.

Look at the fiasco the other night when the supposed big live twist was aired it was a complete and utter joke.

I was looking forward to a whole new show but nothing's changed ?!
I actually am shocked they had the cheek to tell everyone the 'game is changing', its exactly the bloody same. They can't seriously be talking about the house next door

The game has changed doesn't mean every single thing was going to be changed. One can only assume the game changing meant the two houses and others - though how that changes everything I don't know because The Others are not going to be there when it comes to the final week.

After everything, I'm quite happy that we got a set of normal nominations, no fiddling, and vote to evict. It's something this forum would have moaned about to hell if there was a big twist last night (Producers trying to save Marco and so on) so let's just be thankful.

Don't speak too soon. There's still time for them to interfere with this eviction yet.

We've only seen a small fraction of it so far. As the weeks go by this thread might be more appropriate, with hindsight. At the moment I think you're being a little previous.

In one sense, the idea of the Others and the other house is pretty similar to the House Next Door from BB7.

However, I do think that the idea of two continuing sets of housemates where one set get to be nominated and nominate and the other set are immune but get to swap with members of the other set is pretty novel.

Ultimately it will depend on how much say the public get about the final status of the Others. I think it would be grossly unpopular if, at some point, BB just says all the Others have failed and must now leave the house for good.

That would mean that public favourites could end up leaving without the public having any say in the matter at all which would be counter to the fundamental "You Decide" ethos of the show. If that happens then it really would be a Game Changer but one very much for the worst, IMO.

On the other hand, if the intention is that, ultimately, the two houses will merge and everyone becomes a housemate then the Others will actually have had a huge advantage as they will have been able to dodge nominations for the duration of their stay in the Other house. One could argue that that, also, is a bit of a game changer!
