Now I couldn't stand the guy on XF and I can't believe I'm warming to him but I am, if he really was the crazy Ryan he tries to portray he would have done anything to stay in the main house and remain a housemate.

There are a few universities for 'special' people dotted around. I assume he went to one of these, and even then couldn't cut it.
