Group D: Czech Republic vs Croatia - (17/6/16) KO 5pm, BBC1/HD
The game will also be on talkSPORT, BBC Radio 5 Live and on the BBC Sport website and App.
This will be only the third time these two countries have met and their first competitive match. Croatia have the edge with one win, the other match ending all square. The Croats have only failed to score once in their last 10 games at the Euros. The Czechs have not been involved in a draw in a major competition for 19 games dating back to Euro '96. Mark Clattenburg will referee. |

Yeah, hope Croatia put in a good performance here too. I don't think any side has really hit top gear yet but they're definite candidates for a dark horse run.

unsurprisingly the czechs make a couple of changes... they can't really afford to lose this one. should hopefully make it an open game...

This match doesn't strike me as that poor a prospect that it only warrants 15 minutes of BBC build-up.

Czech's need a win, Croatia can afford to draw, so the sooner the Czech Republic score the better for the match. Would like to see the Czech Republic win, but it won't disturb my sleep either way.

It's going to be a long afternoon for the Czechs if the opening ten minutes are anything to go by.

Very bright start by Croatia, plenty of attacking intent.
Croatia playing as though they would rather not chance getting any points from Spain. |

What's going on with the balls? Very strange.
Aside from that, Croatia look good again. |

Just out of Perisic's reach!
The Czech defence surely can't withstand this barrage for much longer. |

Very dominant performance so far from Croatia, but nothing to show for it. Czech Republic will not mind that.

Croatia deserve a goal. By far the better of the two sides.

Suspect the Czech's have seen even less of the ball so far in this game than they did against Spain - Croatia on 74% according to Beeb web site.
Yep, Spain had 72% v Czech Republic; Croatia now up to 75%. At a certain point I would have thought - no idea what that might be - a team is suffocated by lack of possession, even if the other team is incapable of doing much with possession.. |

Surprise that it took 37 minutes.
Sivok so lightweight, just backing off as Perisic ran at him. |

Thoroughly deserved goal; this must be one of the most one sided games in the tournament to date, Croatia have been overwhelmingly dominant.
