Good goal and a lead well earned. Croatia putting in maybe the most assured performance of the tournament so far. I hope they can continue this form and properly challenge the big boys.

Did Corluka and Vida get in each other's way?
Yes, they did. |

Excellent half from Croatia full of quality football. Deserve the lead and really should have had the game wrapped up already.

I've got over 13.5 corners in a bet. Does that count as one?

Mark Clattenberg gets the camera on himself to end the half, just the way he likes.

Perhaps a risky thing to say with one half to go but the Czechs are my new worst team of Euro 2016.
To think 20 years ago we were looking at the likes of Poborsky, Berger, Bejbl and Nedved in this team and now we're watching this shower instead. |

Twattenburg making sure it's all about him as he blows for HT just as Croatia try to take a corner.

Hope Croatia go on to win by two or three now. Nothing against the Czech's but there hasn't been a real top class dominant performance in the tournament yet and I'd like to see this side assert themselves and lay down a marker.

The only real negative for the Croats is that they haven't been ruthless enough in front of goal, something they will need to be once they hit the knockout stages.

Czech Republic will go in feeling they are still in the match, despite being battered for 45 minutes. Be interesting to see if they have any fight and quality in them.

Commentator says that if Czech Rep lose today the best they can do is come third. That's wrong isn't it?
If (big if I know but talking hypothetically) Turkey beat Spain, then on the last set of games Czech Rep beat Turkey and Croatia beat Spain then Croatia would have 9 points and the other three would be tied on 3 points. Then it would come down to GD and Czech Rep could still finish second. Isn't that right? |

Czech's with much more possession at the start of the second half. What can they do with it?

Czechs showing sustained attacking intent for the first time in the whole tournament. Quote:

I suspect the commentator may have been assuming a Spanish win tonight, in which case the Czechs could only finish third. |

Czech's with a shot on goal! Sweden remain way out on their own with no shot on target in 180 minutes.

Bit more of an open game now. This is pretty good to watch. Just a few more goals would be nice.
