Swedeophobe!

Ah, and good old Ibrahimovic even with an open goal from an offside position missed the target. What a team! Go Sweden, go - and I really do mean go.”

I'm following it through various textual mediums, which appears to be a wise move. It's nice to have a tournament in which England are not the team stinking it out. On the pitch, at least.

This was always going to be a match made in hell given Italy winning their opening game, and Sweden's style and approach needing to avoid defeat.

And to think before this tournament I don't think I have ever had a negative thought about Sweden ...

The phrase 'in this tournament' coming along like buses in that post!

That was the moment for Italy!

Parolo should be scoring there, he had all the time in the world to think about the header.

Parolo should have buried that header. Lovely cross.

Haha, time for a quick edit. That's what happens when you try to type while watching the match, though god knows what was actually occupying my attention.

The number of defensive free-kicks this referee gives from corners is crazy.

Berg for Guidetti is most definitely a like-for-like switch.

They're both equally toothless.

Italy are so good at nicking games.

Quality goal.

Brilliant individual goal!

Actually he wasn't put under too much pressure but he still had to create the chance and finish it.

Oh, what a goal!

Just like the Italians to nick it 1-0 at the death.

Will this be the tournament of late goals?

Brilliant run and finish.

Once again, very well spotted. I reckon you are sharper than any of the players in Sweden's squad.

Oh, and thank goodness Italy have scored.

And all of a sudden the game is end to end. Just a pity the goal didn't come 20 minutes earlier then.

Much better goal than the game deserved. The Italians have stepped things up in the last 15 minutes. Sweden woeful.
