one other thing i've found is that it keeps asking me to re-enter my outlook password and re-authorise the account with the mail app.

it's not a massive pain - at the moment

Hopefully people are remembering to use the feedback tool and reporting all their bugs back to Apple...

I've had this before with my iPhone on both iOS 8 and 9.

First few times you don't mind but after the 10th prompt it's tiring!

I've downgraded to ios 9.3.2 again as the apple store can't properly run any diagnostics on it with ios 10, but i still can't shift the developer profile even though i've deleted it in the profile menu.

rebooted the phone at least half a dozen times so far and it's still hanging around. did anyone else do anything particular when (and if..) you downgraded ?

#edit

i'm just going to do a full restore. it's going to save a lot of fannying around.

Very strange!! - when I deleted the Public Beta Profile I had for IOS 9.x my phone just stopped receiving these updates - it did keep the "Notify us of problems" App even though this was no longer relevant.

"TouchID requires you to enter your passcode when your iPhone has restarted"

It hasn't restarted though. I get this a few times a day

Yeah it was weird. No matter what i did, the profile was there - checked iCloud and nothing there either. I just curse not keeping my last 9.3.2 backup from iTunes I suppose, but then I assumed i'd be ok on 10 and the Apple Store would have been able to still do what they needed to do.

Just noticed that iOS 10 Beta 3 has landed. Not going to install just yet, i'll have a look to see what the state of play is and see what they've done.

I imagine EverythingApplePro will have a video up about it at some point (if not already!).

Pages are closing a lot smoother now. The new clicking noise when you put the phone to sleep sounds weird.

The whole feel of it is a lot smoother i think - things opening and closing a lot quicker as well. The keyboard still isn't "dynamic" though - i'm still having to scroll around to follow the cursor as i type but it's no major problem.

Quite impressed so far though

Apparently on iOS 10 Apple have unencrypted part of the OS, thought this was odd.....

They've unencrypted various aspects of the kernel as well with each release. I suppose it could arguably make a jailbreak a lot easier to get working

Hah! Yes, i imagine the feds are hard at work

If anyone is interested, if you go to general and then accessibility, you can actually switch back on the feature that unlocks the phone with your fingerprint instead of pressing the home button.

It doesn't work on the iPhone 6.

Works on mine, make sure you have the dev beta and not public beta, though public beta 2 should release today.

Apparently there's a feature in the new beta 3 that warns you if you're plugged the lightning cable in and it detects moisture on it which is quite clever.

Yes that's 10.0 beta 1.
Isn't the Public Beta 1 the same build as Developer Beta 2?

The way I read things, it was to appease China. Apple have complied with a request for making the code available, thus removing the likely full ban of refusing.

They have not vocally complied with the request, just materially.
