Johnny is yet to make an impact since he returned and has been very much in the background.

It's time for him to have a storyline now.

He sits with his books in the Vic because he's been called to the bar.

Don't worry, Steven will soon ensure he doesn't go to waste.

Probably explains why he's 'wasted' ... The actor is very wooden, so far I'm not a fan.

DTC only brought him back to secure the Carters future in the show when he leaves.

I like the idea of Johnny & Steven.

Because after casting him and watching him on screen they thought "crap, he's bloody awful but we will use him in filler scenes while we have him under contact"

I do remember at the time he was announced for the part someone on here mentioning how much he looked like DTC, if DTC also thought that, it might go someway to explain why the actor got the part.

This is a very good point! They probably can't get rid of him yet, so hence why he's still in it, but not in it, if you get what I mean.....

I never was a fan of the original Johnny, though I'm willing to forgive and forget now if he came back!

He's not a very good actor and he's simply there to fill the Carter quota. One leaves and we get another to replace them.

Not really, maybe they just shouldn't have bothered bringing Johnny back he was always a poor character.

He was never a great character and the actor is at best mediocre.

Because the writers aren't interested in decent, normal characters at the moment. Everyone is so amoral and unpleasant and Johnny just doesn't fit the mood of the current shitshow we're seeing. I miss 2014.

As for people complaining about his acting, I'd take your opinion more seriously if he'd had more than about twenty minutes total of screen time.

Yes but every minute he is onscreen seems like an hour due to his poor acting.

Elly gets very passionate about NuJohnny. So passionate, that I am still using foundation to cover up the black eye she inflicted on me a while ago.

She's dangerous i tell you.

I only ever say it with love. And a slightly disapproving Professor Mcgonagall frown.

I know you do. And you can't go wrong with Maggie Smith giving you a frown.

Maybe if Johnny got wasted he would be more interesting.
