Johnny's hardly had any scenes...or even lines for that matter. Also, has he even had a scene without any of his family?

I don't think it's to do with Ted, the writers have just picked up from where they left off with Johnny. Johnny has a lot of potential, I just hope it's used.

If (and I very much assume) Steven and Johnny are going to happen, this has a lot of potential for drama!

I feel they just brought the character back because Nancy was leaving.

He's had a few scenes without his family (with his university lecturer, the meeting Steven scene with Lauren and Whitney, serving people in the Vic like Martin the other day) but only a few. More concerning is that, outside of his first week, I don't think he's even been filmed outside the Vic.

I agree that Johnny is a character with potential and that a relationship with Steven would be brilliant for him but I am genuinely shocked that DTC rushed to bring him back only to use him so poorly. I wonder if he outlined any plans for him at all before he left?

I think they want to settle down Johnny first before giving him a big storyline. I thought he was daft for rejecting the paramedic, Tom Pepper because he's good looking and has a good sense of humour. I think we need to be patient even if it's too frustrating to wait. Shirley and Lee are also part of the Carters and they have been wasted for many months now, so it's not only Johnny who is being wasted, in my opinion.

Yes, I agree on Shirley and Lee. Shirley had a huge 2014 but has been used fairly infrequently since then. Poor Lee has been wasted from the start.

I dont get why they recast MYJohnny for this one to not even be used.

He will get used. I'm sure he and Steven will get together.

I think Steven may be the making of Johnny 2.0.

Him and Steven need to get it on. I'm probably too old to be this superficial but it would be one hit pairing.
