Group F: Portugal vs Austria - (18/6/16) KO 8pm, BBC1/HD
The game will also be on talkSPORT, BBC Radio 5 Live and on the BBC Sport website and App.
This will be the sides first meeting at a major tournament. Overall, the Austrians have a decent record against their opponents with Portugal having only won 2 of 10 previous clashes. Portugal have never failed to make it out of the group stage at the Euros, however, they have now only won once in their last 5 games at a major tournament. Austria have not kept a clean sheet at a major tournament for 13 matches dating back to the World Cup in 1982. |

Would love to see Ronaldo at his best, but I am not expecting I will. No time at all for Austria ever since I watched their disgraceful match with West Germany in 1982, so I hope Portugal beat them comprehensively.

Have already jinxed ROI and Iceland, so....will predict an easy Portugal win with that classy, modest and sporting bloke Ronaldo to play a blinder.

Portugal are in exactly the same situation that Belgium were in earlier, namely having to recover from a poor, embarrassing performance in their first match by putting in a display that proves the real quality they have.
I can see them responding in the same way as Belgium - although Austria will surely be sterner opponents than Ireland were. |

Austrians seemed stagestruck in their opener, I want to see the Austria that roared through qualifying turn up tonight.

If Austria needed any encouragement, then the mess Pepe made of things then should surely be sufficient for them to see the benefit of attacking Portugal.
