Now Hungary have conceded the only teams yet to concede a goal this tournament are Germany, Spain and Italy.

Savage just took the words out of my mouth, this Iceland side are a well-drilled unit.

Good half....two decent sides going for it.
Want Iceland to win, but can see more goals. Interesting. |

I think this group is going to tightest out of all of them as any team can still qualify

They had a good chance and even better chants... |

I think the Hungarians could do with a bit more pace in their play as well as some cutting edge.

Gábor Király looks like one of those dads that play in the park.
He must like his beer. |

I've decided the wonderful chanting is a Zen-Icelandic meditation on "Come on Son"
Hm, my 0-0 isn't looking a bad shout. Game badly needs a goal to shake things up, both sides too comfortable playing as they are.. The strange viking noise I've no idea. |

Can Iceland hang on to this lead? Would be a great story if they can.

Hungary much livelier at the start of this second half.
The Icelandic defence can deal with plodding, laboured attacks all day long but find it a bit trickier against the high tempo stuff. |

The main chants for the two teams are "Afram ees-land" (Go Iceland) and "Ria, Ria, Hun-ga-ria"
The strange viking noise I've no idea. Hungary have decent enough approach play, but that seems as far as it goes - beginning to see why they found qualifying for this tournament quite a struggle. |

No, he was not offside!
Assistant's blushes spared as much as the player's then. |

For all the lack of attacking play, I would love Iceland to go through to the next round.
The determination, and the possibility of upsetting Ronaldo once more is too tempting to miss.... |

I do hope there is another score as currently it leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth: 1 converted dodgy penalty - 0

That Icelandic goalkeeper is so vulnerable.
The Hungarians would be wise to test him out with a few long shots instead of trying to walk the ball in all the time. |

If Iceland can hang on here, this Portugal vs Austria match will be really interesting. Both teams will need to win.
Hungary have all the pressure but no great chances really yet. Still, given the way this tournament has gone, I'd expect at least one goal after the 80th minute. |

Unimpressive Iceland goalie suddenly transforms into a model keeper and gives Hart (among others) a lesson in how to save from a free kick.
