Ireland are really, really bad.
They're like a poor man's England. They have the same dull uninspired tactics that England have but without the individually talented players that England can call on. |

Why not bring on Robbie Keane, he is their best striker still.

I think this current England squad is much better at developing the ball and creating chances, ,they look much better going forward than they have in ages. |

Belgium coming second in the group could give them a pretty nice path in the knockout stages. A tough but winnable game in the second round against the winner of Group F (presumably Portugal) then likely the winner of England's group in the Quarter FInals. Suddenly everything is looking a lot brighter for the Belgians.

More like the England squad of 10+ years ago- long balls and set pieces being their main way of scoring.
I think this current England squad is much better at developing the ball and creating chances, ,they look much better going forward than they have in ages. |

Rash from Ciaran Clark, once he missed the challenge it was 3 against 1 in Belgium's favour.
Ireland just have to sit in now and prevent a real thrashing. |

Damage limitation time now the game is gone, could get taken to the cleaners if they are not careful

Game over. That goal had far more to do with the terrible defending rather than good attacking. |
