I have just found out through HMV that Geri Halliwell's solo albums are no longer in print on cd! Can you believe? But you can still download them from iTunes!

There is a new compilation of her music on iTunes called Playlist which is great! You guys should check it out?

Her first album is a really strong stellar record. Her other two have some great moments particularly Love Never Loved Me.

I am looking forward to her next album which is apparently finished and she is signed to a new label.

Not leaked.

Tracks 9 -13 are:

I Got A Name
Sheriff
I'm Older Now
Without Love
Get Involved

I think it's absolutely her best solo album. Yes, even Schizophonic!

.

She's signed with Warner and the album is ready now... but it won't be released until after the Spice project.

Yup!!

She's not even on the radar as a retro artist- although the Spice Girls reunion might boost her profile.

Why do they keep reforming anyway? Surely they're not skint?

Look in any charity shop and the odds are you'll find one of them. I used to volunteer in one of my local shops looking after cds and dvds and had multiple copies of Scream If You Wanna Go Faster pass through my hands.

I think they should have a goat recording an album together. They last performed together on tour following a greatest hits that contained two new songs only. And then no DVD of the tour was released. I do think that they owe it to their fans to

a. release a dvd of the tour
b. release rarities, b sides and maybe re-recordings. Particularly - WOMAN! That song was standout yet never saw the light of day.
c. new music as a complete band - a new album?

I suspect what will and should happen in best interests for the band and its members is:
to release CD/DVD release with sides; rarities and re-recodings and 3 new songs under the guise of SPICE 20 or something

the problem with the Spice Girls is if they would record new music, it would be something like the dance fluffy stuff that is being chucked out en masse at the moment.
They are a gimmicky act (even more now in hindsight) and have no musical direction or style, they are as manufactured as they come. Their back catalogue also is more fun than "classic""

Unfortunately (to bring comparisons in) look at All Saints, they carved a path in poppy rnb and always have ventured more into it and as they have grown older so has their music developed and people (outside just chart and pop lovers) are appreciative about it and no one is surprised at them working with well known producers and people

I'd rather listen to Geri's first album than any of Adele's.
