Containment UK Pace E4
The US version of the Belgian TV series Cordon.
Lots of stupid Americans doing stupid things. Haven't seen the Belgian version, so not sure if the Americans are doing stupid things because that's what the Belgians did. It's a one off series so enjoy it for what it is. |

Believe me there were lots of Beligians doing stupid things in Cordon, so sounds pretty faithful. TBH having seen Cordon season 1 I would not want to watch Containment, not because I've 'seen it' but because the story is rather dissapointing to me.
Many will enjoy it though. |

All Geektown has for a Containment start date at the moment is "Summer 2016"

Watched - ep. 1 last night.
I didn't realise it was going to be exactly the same plot relocated to the US.... They have kept so closely to the original it's a bit like watching a repeat..... |

Our rules in the UK are a lot stricter, but I did love how the two children could walk off to the hospital animal research facility and the teacher and the cop were given a pass to the restricted area.
It was entertaining though. |

The Belgian one was terrible and this is entirely faithful in that it too is godawful.

So its a pretty faithful remake.
Not seen the original, is this worth a watch or not? Have been storing this but is it gonna be bad? |

The end of last week's episode was a bit different from the equivalent episode in the Belgian original

I don't know if this was explained and I missed it, but if they know the symptoms present within 2 days, is there some reason why they can't set up some sort of quarantine area and gradually let people out? At least for the children trapped in there with no parents etc.

Anyone still watching this? Caught up last night and was surprised at how graphic it was for E4!
I'm not sure what direction they will take it now, but im wondering how long it'll take for lover boy to remember that actually, hes a policeman so should probably get back to his policeman-y duties. He only knew her for 16 days! |

I watched Cordon it was a new idea and badly executed. I watched one episode of the US version and took it off series record as it was poor. US remakes are poor. I only watched about 3 episodes of The US version of The Killing for the same reason.
