The game will also be on talkSPORT 2, BBC Radio 5 Live and on the BBC Sport website and App.

This will be the 17th meeting between the nations with Romania unbeaten in the last 13 encounters registering 10 wins in that run.

Albania haven't beaten their opponents since 1948.

However, the Romanians have only won 1 game in their last 15 at the Euros keeping only 1 clean sheet in that run.

If Albania fail to get a goal in this game they will become only the second team to not score on their debut at the tournament. To date, Turkey are the only debutante to achieve that unwanted statistic.

Is it too much to ask for the Romanians to pay homage to their great ancestors, and dye all their hair blond on just one match??!

Permutations:

Romania need a win and a Swiss defeat to finish in second place; a win on its own will probably take them through as a best third place finisher, upon which they could play England or Germany in the last 16.

Albania need a win to give themselves a slim chance of going through as a best third place finisher.

Cheers, Jason, for the permutations in each thread.

I'm edging towards having this game on the TV with the other on the laptop. With both sides needing to go for the win here it may be the more compelling.

Best result from a Northern Irish perspective is for a draw or a narrow Albanian victory. Either would see us in a higher third-place position.

^ obviously you won't as it will be past your bed time...

you gotta think (or hope) that both sides will be going for it tonight knowing that a win could send them in to the knockouts... i reckon romania will edge it, hopefully in a high scoring game...

Yep, I'm going to give it a go. Long time ago, but I have some terrific memories of Gheorghe Hagi, so I would like to see Romania progress. in the tournament. OTOH, this might be the last chance I have to see them in it.

From a Welsh perspective, I too would like a draw. Say 4 all, that'd be good!

I just have this worry that Russia will actually turn up for 90 minutes for once tomorrow so have gone a bit negative just in case!

Unhelpfully, the stream of this match on the BBC website is about a minute behind the actual broadcast, so people watching on the site will be a bit out of sync with what's going on.

I'm watching both games online with a split screen so I'm around a minute behind in both!

Romania have made a more than decent start.

Alibec looks like he could be useful. That was neat bit of skill to create the space for a venomous shot which didn't dip fast enough.

Albania looking very one dimensional, giving it their all, but don't seem to have a lot to give.

Noted comments about one minute delay in streaming - I will intentionally delay my match comments.

You might think that Romania would be disappointed not to win this game.

You would think that they will not get a better opportunity than that to score.

It was a terrific counter from the Albanians, all Lenjani had to do was guide it in. Shocker.

Yeah, very good play, it deserved a goal, such a shame that they didn't get one there.
