The game will also be on talkSPORT, BBC Radio 5 Live and on the BBC Sport website and App.

This will be the 38th meeting between the two nations. The Swiss haven't beaten France since 1992. Since then there have been 6 encounters with 3 wins for the French and 3 draws.

Switzerland will be hoping to end their record of never having qualified for the knockout stages of a European Championship.

This is the third time France have opened a Euro tournament with 2 back-to-back wins. The two previous occasions they did that they went on to lift the trophy.

I'm betting on 3 wins in a row for France.

Permutations:

France need a draw to top the group and book a possible last 16 match with Northern Ireland.

Switzerland need a win to top the group themselves; a draw will guarantee second place and a possible last 16 match with Poland.

Why aren't these last 2 group games being shown live on both BBC and ITV?

They are both on TV.
Switzerland v France on BBC1
Romania v Albania on BBC4

Tomorrow it's ITV & ITV2

Edit

Can you imagine the threads on DS complaining if both of the main channels had football on at the same time. We'll have that for the final, and there will, I don't doubt, be threads complaining then, for the one match.

Glad Embolo is starting. Player for player I have to say I don't find that France team that impressive, but it's obviously far from their first team.

My guide has the England match on both ITV and ITV 2, with the other game on ITV 4

That's because viewers in Wales will be shown the Welsh match on ITV tomorrow, and would have no way of being able to watch England unless it was shown on ITV2.

On that subject, it's probably advisable to have a second screen set up to follow tonight's and the next few days' deciding group matches.

How close was that for the Swiss?

Schar needed a better header and Dezmaili shouldn't have gone to ground so easily.

Good early pressure from the Swiss, no settling for a draw from them so far.

As I said last gameweek France are using up all their luck in the group stages and will be hammered by the first good team they play

Great save by Sommer!

He's been one of the better goalkeepers in this tournament so far.

And then he goes and spills a simple corner.
