Joanne Shaw Taylor showing Adele what a real blues singer sounds like.

Do you even know the meaning of " pretentious " ??

He's the most selfits effacing person I've ever seen . He ' bigs' everybody else up whilst he puts himself down . You do know that the other guys in the band are all super shy and he's been pushed forward as the bands spokesman from the very early days .
Agreed.he's a lovely self deprecating guy.people choose to see what they want to about him and Its a falsehood.a sweet talented man.

I wasn't that impressed with Adele's singing last night funnily enough ...

PJ Harvey is fab. One of the most original, thought provoking and unique artists we currently have. Superb voice, excellent band, wonderful songs. My favourite set of the weekend. And that was a great outfit she was wearing too!
I thoroughly enjoyed her set ... and the black feathers.

Oh, for F's sake BBC2! Show some more of Beck and yes - great you do. But you show the exact same thing we saw earlier! Idiots.

edit - ok, maybe they didn't. But they were evidently going too.

Oh here's Mr 'love myself more than I could possibly love another'.

Has Chris Martin had a hair transplant? I'm not overly interested but he seems to have more now than what I recall seeing some years ago.

Ok, fair do's. As I said previously it doesn't overly interest or bother me, I was just curious, it just now looks a bit thicker and more prevalent than what I recall.

The festival is moving site
It is, to Longleat. I believe they are going for one year only at present as a trial and if successful will be moving there on a permanent basis.

great to hear they are gaining new fans but this is what is wrong with music today, your only hope of hearing Chvvrches on the radio is on Radio 1 and you would have to hear a lot of dross as well so lots of peopel like yourself just would never hear them without events like Glastonbury.

I dont believe it will come to Longleat, the Elton John concert there with just 16 thousand ended up being a big fat mess, they could not handle the amount of people from Glasto.Plus there is the welfare of the animals to consider.

They need to look elsewhere.

Surely it's for the fallow year only. Every 6 years they stop it to give the fields a chance to recover. It would NEVER move from where it is.

I wouldnt say plenty to be fair .

There are loads who's voices are completely shot and their band are sounding better than ever ..... Paul McCartneys voice was disappointing last time I heard him. Yet Barry Manilow seems to be getting better with age ...
I think people should always accept that the voice will go a bit as you near 70, if you've been performing and belting songs out most of your life, but I saw Bazza at the O2 last week and his voice was incredible, he's 73.

Love to see him in the Legends slot.

I first became aware of Chvrches on Jools Holland in 2013. Have a listen to their album The Bones of What You Believe , you should like it.

Similarly, it was at about the same time that I first saw Grimes (also on Jools Holland) when she played her song Genesis .. another relatively unknown young artiste who should have wider exposure, as she's been recording and performing since 2009.

Actually turned Coldplay off at 10 and watched Earth, Wind and Fire instead on BBC4.
