Does anybody know of a way to incorporate this? It doesn't exactly give you a wealth of information about it on the dedicated website.

You can't, it's not a Freeview Play box.

If you want Freeview Play you need to buy a Freeview Play box.

I know that but I thought there were people on here who knew devious ways of getting round it

There is no way to get round it, devious or otherwise.

It is an integral bit of the firmware of the Freeview Play TVs and PVRs. There is no magic spell you can recite that can make a PVR or TV that does not have the requisite firmware on board suddenly acquire Freeview play capability. Simply cannot be done.

I have a Humax 2000T and also a 'White' (the latest) Now box and pay £6.99 pm for Now tv etc.
It gives instant access to all the catch-up sites as well as literally hundreds of other programmes and 'boxed sets'!
The picture quality is also superb by the way!
I consider it brilliant value and quite frankly cannot see the need to buy a Freeview Play box!
Should you not wish to pay the small monthly fee then the box will still give you access to the majority of the catch-up services for free.

I bought a Freeview Play PVR from Panasonic recently and it is handy to scroll backwards to previously broadcast TV. It does nothing that the individual catch-up services don't do but just makes it very convenient.

The individual catch-up services from the likes of ITV make programmes irritatingly difficult to find.
