I think your maths needs work, if Russia beat Wales, we'll remain ahead of Wales whatever happens. Lowest we can finish is 3rd, and 4 points should be enough to see us through in that position.

Personally I find it inconceivable how you can leave behind an English player who played a significant part in his club winning the league. Wouldn't have happened if he played for a bigger club.
