Tough one, I know! Not many contenders!

Poll will be open for 3 days and then I'll announce the winner.

My vote goes to Daniel Sturridge.

I'll give my vote to the player who scored the goals.

Oh! Oh dear.

Nathaniel Clyne, no other player was in contention for me; perhaps if they had been we would have had a better result.

That's a bit tough from me on Eric Dier, who put in a serious shift for the whole match

Clyne had a fine first half but faded in the second, bar nearly scoring!

I'd probably go for Dier.

I went for Clyne, it certainly wasn't a striker.

Eric Dier, up until very recently a player we didn't know we needed.

Every team needs a good covering DM, which is why it is strange that we only have him and no-one else in the squad that can adequately play that role.

If he gets injured or suspended we are a tad bit screwed.

I don't mean the role, I mean Dier himself.

He was good for Spurs last season and fully deserved his place in the squad, he was along with Ali their breakout stars of that season I thought.

If only Ali could be doing as well in this tournament as him, then we would look far more dangerous going forward then we are currently.

Same, I assumed he was Portuguese after that time they signed Lewis Holtby and I found out he was German.

He left England when he was very young and came up through Sporting's youth system, so the confuesion might be because of that.

Huh, you just said you thought that he was of Portuguese nationality, I was only trying to help you out, sorry if there we are getting our wires crossed here.

I thought he might be a Johnny Foreigner, but when I checked I found out he was English. Not a lot of room for confusion really.
