Group C: Ukraine vs Poland - (21/6/16) KO 5pm, BBC Red Button
The game will also be on talkSPORT 2, BBC Radio 5 Live and on the BBC Sport website and App.
This will the their 8th meeting overall, with Ukraine edging out their opponents to date with 3 wins to 2. The Ukrainians are unbeaten in their last 5 games against the Poles. Permutations:
Poland need a win to have any chance of topping the group and could then only do so if Germany secure a narrower win than them over Northern Ireland or fail to win; a draw would put them through in second place, as would a defeat unless Germany suffered a bigger defeat than them - upon which they'd go through as a best third team. Ukraine are eliminated and cannot finish anywhere other than last. |

A friend of mine is Ukrainian and is refusing to go to this game (for obvious reasons). He has 6 tickets to give away for free if anyone knows any Polish fans who are there and might want them, PM me. Two of those tickets are for a VIP box with catering. The tickets are just going to waste

you'd think this would be a comfortable win for the poles... but i suppose there's a chance that now ukraine have nothing to play for they might relax and cause a problem.

Ukraine have had their moments in this one, they have certainly made it difficult for the Poles.

Bit of an aside but the pitch this match is being played on in Marseille is diabolical.
The six yard boxes in particular are more mud than grass. |
