The Thomas Muller I know would be on about 7 goals by this point in the tournament.

Northern Ireland are living a bit of a charmed life in these early stages.

And McGovern makes another save!

McGovern's started well, very well.

I think it'll be at least 3-0 though, unfortunately.

He's been watching Tim Howard playing Belgium and fancies a crack at that game.

Somebody said Thomas Muller only scores in World Cups

I wonder what the reason is that he does not perform at the Euros

This rather annoying commentator just said that Kroos has completed 208 passes of an attempted 220 in the first two games and then he kicks his first pass into the crowd and the second went to an Irish guy

When did the laws of the game change so that you don't have to play the ball forward at kick off? I've never seen that before.
The IFAB changed the kick off rules just this month, it can now be kicked in any direction

That's about the nicest thing I have read in these forums about Jonathan Pearce

He's a shrieker, makes my ears bleed and my head ring.

Close Thomas Muller!

Surely one of these chances is going to count sooner rather than later.

I seem to recall that he was far louder a few years ago though .

As regards Germany I'm rather surprised that they have Sami Khedira in abive Emre Can who's been impressive since Christmas . He's not dissimilar but he's faster , maybe more technical and certainly more explosive . Khedira kinda reminds me of Eric Dier who had an excellent game last night incidentally ...

Good pressing from N.I, German defence looked a bit exposed then, pity the ball into the box wasn't great.
Missed a sitter there Germany

Seriously, how does Jonathan Pearce not see the difference between a goal-kick flag and an offside one?! So frustrating to listen to at times.

Could be worse, could be Tyldesley or Motson.
