Wasn't sure where to post this, but since I plan to use the Android app, here seems as good as anywhere!
I manage a couple of Facebook pages, and am going to use the live video feature found in the Facebook app to broadcast some stuff from these pages, trouble is, I can't seem to find any info anywhere on how the system works or even just basic stuff about orientation and aspect ratios.
I know the feature isn't available to everyone yet (for example, I can't broadcast live from my personal profile yet, but I can from the 2 pages I manage) but everyone should be able to view the video once I hit the start button.
Does the video auto rotate, or do I have to hold my phone in portrait? Periscope wouldn't let you film in anything but portrait when it first launched and although FB appears to film in a 1:1 aspect ratio, I'm wondering if this is the same.
If I rotate can I still see comments, likes and so on correctly?
