Tuned in and no Pat, but still live news. The music is such a big mixture.

That's just the transmitter. I doubt there is a dedicated studio as such, shows can be VT'd and uploaded to the server anywhere. Back in the day Capital said it came from the top of the Euston Tower. It never did.

I remember calling in sometime in 82-84 for some car stickers from the "Capital FM foyer" on the ground floor of the tower next to Warren Strret tube. |

They were in there somewhere...maybe not the top floor and Crystal Palace was also the 95.8FM transmitter at the time.

Tony Blackburn at Breakfast from July 4th
Sadly unimpressed so far with the ongoing automated jukebox (from Wales?) and does the London-customised newsreader do his stuff at the Leeds-based Radio News Hub? It's certainly one of their guys doing it this morning. |

Now from Tony's Twitter re. Thames Radio...
*** @tonyblackburn I will be doing a Soul Show every Saturday, starting on Saturday at 6pm.I can't wait to get back playing the music I love. *** So that's settled: NOT a breakfast show. Also, Companies House shows that Thames Radio's registered office is: St Hilary Transmitter St Hilary, Cowbridge, Vale Of Glamorgan, Wales See: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/10085879 |

Nation do not have any London studios but there are plenty to rent. If Thames are 64k on London 2 with standard DAB rather than DAB+ to presumably get maximum listeners. Then there maybe 32k left on London 2 as advertised? If no one else gets it, then maybe Thames can eventually go with better audio at 80k or 96k? |

Tony Blackburn only a syndicated show, what a bummer so far this station. |
