Tuned in and no Pat, but still live news. The music is such a big mixture.

There's a trailer with Pat and Neil starting next weekend. So not this week just a test run on DAB

That's just the transmitter. I doubt there is a dedicated studio as such, shows can be VT'd and uploaded to the server anywhere. Back in the day Capital said it came from the top of the Euston Tower. It never did.

They were in there somewhere...maybe not the top floor and Crystal Palace was also the 95.8FM transmitter at the time.
I remember calling in sometime in 82-84 for some car stickers from the "Capital FM foyer" on the ground floor of the tower next to Warren Strret tube.

If i see pictures on their social media from a DAB radio display, they are in London actually, but you never know....

Euston Tower was about 30 floors high, Capital's studios were in the first floor so certainly not at the top of the tower but it sounded much better than from the first floor.

Actually Capital transmitted (and still does) from the Croydon tower as opposed to Crystal Palace...

I thought it said this would be a weekly #SoulParty show? Syndicated, no doubt.

Sadly unimpressed so far with the ongoing automated jukebox (from Wales?) and does the London-customised newsreader do his stuff at the Leeds-based Radio News Hub? It's certainly one of their guys doing it this morning.

The Tweet this morning was a little misleading, they will have live Breakfast from next Monday and they also announced Tony was joining, sadly not at Breakfast it seems, I'd expect it will be Neil Fox

‏@tonyblackburn
I will be doing a Soul Show every Saturday, starting on Saturday at 6pm.I can't wait to get back playing the music I love.

So that's settled: NOT a breakfast show.

Also, Companies House shows that Thames Radio's registered office is:
St Hilary Transmitter St Hilary, Cowbridge, Vale Of Glamorgan, Wales

Maybe the long term plan?
Nation do not have any London studios but there are plenty to rent.

If Thames are 64k on London 2 with standard DAB rather than DAB+ to presumably get maximum listeners. Then there maybe 32k left on London 2 as advertised? If no one else gets it, then maybe Thames can eventually go with better audio at 80k or 96k?

I expected Pat Sharp from this morning, but still non stop music....
Tony Blackburn only a syndicated show, what a bummer so far this station.
