I thought too it's a syndicated show? Unless Gary is joining?

He's only in combination with this program on the schedule, not apart of this. I hope so he's also old Capital.

Could be a bespoke version of Totally 80s/90s for Thames Radio, unless he's taking over the synidcated show.

Chris Blumer will do Thames Radio breakfast, Pat 10am to 1pm, Neil 1-4 with Fox at Drivetime every weekday - according the website: http://thamesradio.london/schedule/#

I sent a tweet to Tony Blackburn today and being the gentleman he is, he responded.

He told me that his show will not be live but recorded as live.

Schedule coming on nicely, just need Dean Martin weekday 8pm to 10pm and maybe 6-10pm Sundays.

Mmm, looks like a third-rate VT DJ. Breakfastshows are very important for radiostations as whe know (I guess). It makes your day to listen longer after the breakfast show to the station. And with this Capital revival on this new station it must be important that you have a DJ who feels that. Chris Tarrent would be nice, but also Neil Fox instead of drive time who is now on. So i'm not impresive about this breakfastshow. The rest of the day would be nice if it's live and not VT though.

Not sure if Thames started at 64k but it's showing as 80k on my radio now.

That's a pitty, but hey, lots of other American voices still around to give the station that real Capital vibe.

Use the same liners and instead of Capital, Thames Radio offcourse: http://aircheckdownloads.com/Capital_Sweepers_1992.mp3

Brian James was the other voice: http://aircheckdownloads.com/Capital_Imaging_95.mp3

Not a bad looking line up in general. All we need now is Dean Martin covering 8-10pm during the week with his request show and then (although he never worked on Capital) from 10-1am Late Night Love Songs with Nigel Williams.

Well, hopefully their more professional than nation radio who don't seem to even know how to spell his name.

He could make his breakfastshow live from Wales because he's on Nation on late mornings. But a real breakfastshow for a London station needs to be made in London it self, it seems clear.

He is on the AgeUK Wireless, a rival to Thames, Gold, Eagle Oldies and Golden the greatest hits radio market is getting busy here.
RTL have kept the Thames TV brand just wondered if they kept the radio interests in the UK they might have invested in Thames radio and Country 1035?

If the breakfast host is already doing two separate daily shows in Wales, then my guess is that not one single show is live. I'd say that the studio is actually a server running somewhere in Wales. Happy to be proven wrong, though.

He's also doing the "Flashback 40" retro chart show for TWG's AM stations - maybe that could be carried on/repackaged for Thames?

Still a lot of spaces on late evenings and sunday's. Need to be filled with other on air talent.

P.s. Lot of lovesong programs in the schedule. Had Captital FM in the old days also love songs late evenings?
