Last 16 - Predictions
Predicting the remaining results I reckon that the last 16 will look like this
Top Half of the Draw Swiss v Poland Spain v Iceland Wales v Albania Portugal v Belgium Bottom Half of the Draw Italy v Croatia Germany v Slovakia England v Hungary France v N Ireland If my guess in right the bottom half looks a lot tougher then the top half with 4 Previous World Champions in that half |

Crazy. Spain will play Italy and odds are Belgium will play Portugal and Wales will probably get Albania or Northern Ireland. Imbalance here!!

England v Hungary doesnt seem too bad a possible draw for us, but what do I know
![]() The top half looks a lot easier. Spain proved they're human today. |

The Croatia result has really opened up one side of the draw for a Croatia or Poland to reach the semis - even Wales!
Meanwhile the big boys are on the other side of the draw so some big games coming up. |

I never understand these hard halves and easy halves of the draw comments. You see it in tennis a lot.
Fair enough if you are Italy, they will have to beat Spain, then Germany, then maybe France to get to the final. But if you are right at the very bottom, like England are or seed 2 is, why does it matter who is is in the upper part of your half. You only will have to play one of them. It is a good thing us or France have Spain, Italy and Germany in our half, as only one of them will get to the semi final and with one or two epic matches behind them. |

But Wales would play Belgium I believe in their quarter final which looks more difficult to me. I genuinely think us or France are in a great draw now, two giants will be out and the third having had matches against both of them. Three games maybe a step too far. Our undoing could be a full weeks break. I would rather have played Saturday. |

I know and I think that is where we will go out, if we avoid Portugal beforehand.

Of course, this doesn't mean we'd win, but we'd be in with a chance. |

In what universe is Belgium a more difficult draw than the current France team in PARIS?!
Some very bizarre logic on this forum

Both France and Belgium have been very average in this tournament, nothing to fear from either of them even France at the Stade De France would be very winnable by any team with a decent striker
2) England don't have any in form strikers who could threaten France 3) France's main weakness has been defending set pieces, but England have been terrible at those |
