To all you doubters it's best to say nothing and be thought a fool than open your mouth and confirm it.
I never doubted you for a second

I knew you had a good team and i thought you could beat Belgium tonight

And even win the Euros

I didn't mean anyone in particular, it's been a fantastic journey for the players and fans no matter what happens.

I don't see how people can be criticised for thinking that a Wales team who scraped past Northern Ireland might lose to a Belgian team that virtually pulverised the Hungarians.

Hindsight makes fools of everybody in the end.

Losing Ramsey to suspension is a big loss, hopefully they can still beat Portugal.
Time for Bale to step up and upstage Ronaldo.

I said last night I couldn't get a handle on Wales' form and found it hard to judge them, but they answered all the questions tonight. Superb team spirit and a brilliant coach in Chris Coleman.

And yes they can win it, they have a bit of a look of Denmark 1992 about them.

I think they can survive his loss, they look like a real "team" and not a bunch of individuals.

Surely the winning team is very likely to be from the other half of the draw now.

I cant Germany collapsing miserably like the way Belgium did.

Because people should have been taking note of wales recent form against Belgium. The result against Hungary flattered them because they (hungary) abandoned any defensive duties when they went 2 - 0 down.

It does tend to show that Wales relish being underdogs and the counter attacking role. Perhaps it was impossible for them to shine against Northern Ireland.

I think they'll be fancied a lot more against Portugal, whether that makes a difference to them remains to be seen. I didn't want Belgium to win it and really don't want Portugal, so more of the same please.

Portugal, despite their crap football have proven they are a lot more stoic and resolute than Belgium so far, they've got the semi's for a reason, they're happy to go into the mud with Wales and grind a result out if necessary, take it to penalties etc.

In a year when Leicester City won the Premier League and in a competition won previously by Denmark and Greece, I say why not a Welsh triumph. They only need two more wins.

And if you believe in omens, Wales' run is coming 12 years after Greece's victory, which they clinched 12 years after Denmark's victory.

Wales will struggle I think without Ramsey, he has been one of, in not the player of the tournament so far, not just for them, but in general.

Still dreaming of an Iceland v Wales final, both of the unfancied sides doing well is great to see.

On the other hand, any good side should be able to survive the suspension of a player for one game, that's the mark of a decent team.

True, but he if anything I think has played even better than Bale for them.
I am not quite sure who will replace him against Portugal, but he will be missed.

Johnny Williams will probably come in for Wales, he's a decent player. Portugal havent played that well, as long as we keep it tight in defence, Bale will hopefully be the difference between the teams

I just hope Wales don't enjoy it too much. Portugal have been lucky. Wales will miss Ramsey.

Wales were prepared for the fact that Rmsey might get booked in this game, so I'm guessing Coleman already had a plan for the semi on the chance of that happening

I'm now reversing my optimism. I don't doubt Wales can overcome Portugal in the Semis to at least make the final, then once there it's completely 'all for one' and becomes a special occasion where anything can happen. So yeah, I back Wales to possibly win but yet convinced they will.

It's hardly being a doubter to think the team ranked 2nd in the world should beat Wales, but fair play they made a fool of me.

I'm making no predictions for the semi final.

Evening twelve years you get a shock winner of this Denmark in 92 Greece in 2004 maybe Wales in 2016.

Should still be France , Germany or Italy as the winner though

After that demolition of Belgium - one of the great tournament performances by a team from Britain - who would wager against Wales? Portugal are a less attractive, less likeable team than Belgium, in my view, but they have much greater resilience and spirit. They do not entertain, but they do not fold when the pressure is on. Portugal know how to win ugly; in fact, in this tournament, it seems that is the only way they can win.

I would much prefer to see Wales contest the final. It will be a very tough ask against Portugal, especially now they have lost the player who could arguably challenge the talismanic Bale as their player of the tournament, Ramsey. Of course Ramsey can be replaced but on song, as he has been in this tournament, Ramsey is a special player, I have no doubts about that.

Okay, I don't like sitting on fences, so I will say Wales will beat Portugal. The force is with them, as they say, and I think Bale will use this game to make an emphatic statement about who is currently the best player at Real Madrid; he will outshine Ronaldo to decisively turn the game Wales' way.

West Germany in 1980, not sure it's a pattern yet.

As theres been no stand out team so far, I'd say Wales have as much of a chance as anyone else.

Its there for the taking but losing Ramsey wont help. He's been their player of the tournament so far.
