I've been with t-mobile 6 months and always paid my bills in advance, anyway I recently lost my job and couldnt afford to pay 1 bill!!!!. Letter this morning from a debt collector threating legal action if I dont pay £30 in the next 7 days. Like I only missed 1 bill and it is only £30

Have you phones customer services, T- Mobile customer services, customer service will see your good payment history and probably extended the deadline.

Sometimes i forget to pay my bill and its just added on to next months bill

I phoned up t-mobile and paid it,the guy couldnt believe it got handed over to the debt recovery agency so quickly which is the point im also trying to make. My wife lost her job a few years back, she never paid her Orange bill for 4 months and it just kept adding on to her bill which she paid when she got another job. Why wouldnt t-mobile do this? Instead threating a good paying customer with legal action,I will be leaving once my contracts up.

Very straneg, as although I'm not a big t-mobile fan, I often miss my bill date due to my pay schedules, and they never send more than a reminder, or just add it to the next bill.

They would never take legal action for that amount of money though. Although I cancelled an o2 direct debit as they refused to terminate my contract after the 30 days notice, and it still haunts me to this day.
