![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yay, happy! I don't mind where Jackson ends up now, but I am very happy for him that he's made it through today... and... I hope, to the final? Don't want to speak too soon though... there are still a lot of people left, so...! But ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() !

I actually can't believe he was kept in by being in the top two! He got a lot of cheers from the crowd. I really thought it was going to be Jason and Andy .It must have been really close.

I loved the comments he got about thinking we had the first girl as prime minister. His comments from some about the funniest moment all referred to his intelligence. And then he occasionally came out with something quite innocent like that.
I think that's what I like about him. |

Yep, I had a feeling there'd be too many for the final. I think it is a really horrible end to their time in the house for whoever goes on Sunday.
There is nobody I'd be happy to see leave that way. Poor whichever two it is. I hope not Jackson. I also hope that the cheers of the crowd are indicative of the general love for Jackson on the outside. Of course the eviction crowd are not representative of the entire audience or of the voting necessarily, but I am happy Jackson got to hear so nice a reaction and I hope it'll help make his last few days in the house feel as happy as is possible. And, I hope he has a last few days and is not gone tomorrow! I really enjoyed last night's live feed. Haha, poor Jackson having to relive his moment of stupidity. ![]() But it is true, people made nice comments about him. I feel both in cleverness and sometimes in emotional response Jackson seems to be a mix of intelligence and innocence (or sometimes knowingness vs. naivety.) Which isn't to say he is all good. We all have positive and negative qualities, of course! But I wonder whether this combination has added to the whole "fake" critique which I really dislike and think it is so mean (& downright bizarre!) to imply every emotion of any person is false. I can't imagine how anyone could think it of a person either. Because to me, if you're saying this, you're also suggesting that person in reality has no emotions... aren't you? ![]() I feel the warmth of who he is within with ease. And I do think he is one of the more intelligent housemates in terms of his understanding. Clearly not in every area of knowledge though, as this clip testifies ![]() , but as I see it our contradictions are part of what makes us interesting and human!

Hi, not a 'fan' of Jackson's but I was looking around to see what's going on on the AT's and came across this post of yours. Quote:

Whether people like him or loathe him they surely cannot disagree with that. |

Aww, muggins14 - thank you for commenting. I felt touched by your reply. Brought a smile to my face this Sunday afternoon. I'm glad you agree with that part: it is a thing I really dislike and I think it must be really horrible to know you're thought of or have been called such. It is nice to hear views from someone who.. let's say might not be naturally posting on this appreciation thread.
Makes me feel we are all united on a level more important than Big Brother. I truly feel it is cruel to whoever will have to leave today, but I agree that it would be nice to see those who have been the biggest part of this year's show in the final. I am glad you feel Jackson should be there and that even though you've not always been keen on him (I support him, but as I've said, he is not without flaws! ) you can see positive qualities in him. ![]() I'd better stop before I try to initiate a massive group hug with the entire forum I suppose. But thank you again for responding and sharing your thoughts. If no more, you brought a bit of happiness to me!

I think it's a good post and especially agree with your bib - I hate the term 'fake' and agree that he is an intelligent guy. No-one should be leaving this way but if justice is to be served then Sam and Alex should go - they have contributed the least to the show. {{{hugs}}} to you all - and good luck!

Oh no! Don't say this. I feel so bad for whoever leaves today, but it'd be a very sad end to the series for me if Jackson left. Surely not? Did the odds do a sudden change? As isn't that what happened when Chelsea left?
![]() Oh well, no point worrying, but I really hope it is not the case. |

![]() Oh well, no point worrying, but I really hope it is not the case. Nothing wrong in that! .But Alex has shot up and Jackson into the bottom three for the first time.I did vote once last night but he was nowhere near bottom three .When he got through the other night he was in equal 4 the with Alex with Jayne just below them.then he short above Alex again and now within the space of an hour or so he's in the bottom three.Everything up till this afternoon shows him as safe! Very strange! Not sure what it means but maybe we should have assumed nobody's safe except Andy Hughie Jason and Jayne. I think people feel strongly about Jason one way or the other and will pick the phone up to evict and to save.Thats my reason for thinking Jason will still be there. Jackson's supporters may well think he was safe.I hope people voted more than I did.I do believe one way or another he deserves to be in the final. It should be Sam and Evelyn who have been consistently at the bottom. Wonder how it went with Georgina's visit. Also feel sad for anyone who leaves today through the back door but specially hope it's not "our kid". |
