Troye Sivan - Talk Me Down
Apparently this song had been released months upon months ago abroad and it's only just been released in the UK.
Has anyone else heard it yet? It's one of the most haunting songs I've ever heard...and the lyrics are pretty amazing too! |

it makes me cry everytime but i'm not sure if that's because i'd seen the music video trilogy before i heard the song on it's own or not.

The album he released last year was fantastic, so talented. Hope to hear new material soon.

I really like him. 'Youth' is my favourite, check it out if you haven't already.

I can't actually listen to it, it's really sad. The video especially. Its sad because its real, not just a fantasy or a made up story.
Troye is great though, check out Wild and Fools, the previous singles. |

I didn't have a clue who Troye Sivan was when he released Happy Little Pill but based on that song, I thought Troye had proven to be quite an innovative pop singer.
Definitely one of the most quirky and original male singers out there. No doubt the second Troye releases a song that rips off Ed Sheeran or Justin Bieber, he will get his biggest hit of his career!!! (go figure) I heard TALK ME DOWN around October last year and thought it was a really beautiful yet haunting song. I've also watched his video trilogy and again find it impressive that Troye is being so unique and individual with his music. I do think Troye is a bit too quirky for the British audience. He's not Sam Smith so sadly isn't getting the success he deserves imo. |

How strange, I posted a message and then it didn't appear.
So I got round to listening to and watching the previous two singles in the trilogy, it's so relatable for many people as well. Wild is my favourite, followed by Talk Me Down and Fools however special mention to Youth and Heaven, love them both. Just hoping now he does a UK tour, he seems to have a large following due to his YouTube thing so who knows! |

I don't think he has managed to surpass Happy Little Pill yet.
