Temporary masts for the Lincolnshire Show?

Hi all. It's been a few months since I last posted.

I went to the Lincolnshire Show yesterday and noticed what I thought might have been two temporary mobile phone masts. One was behind and to the left of the Epic Centre when looking towards it and the main ring (when standing between the main ring and the agricultural vehicles- this will make sense to those who have been to the show) and appeared to have three sectors. There was a second one towards one of the boundary fences, not far from where the Just RV's were. This was a small truck with a large pole with two sectors and a microwave dish on the top.

I didn't take any photos and I didn't even have my phone on me (I'm on Three) to see if it was making a difference, so I don't really have any further information. However, from this brief description, is it likely that they are temporary masts? Around 60,000 people visit over the course of the two days it is on for, so extra capacity would be justified.

That said, I did a few quick Google searches last night and most of the temporary masts (or, rather appropriately for a show featuring livestock among other things, CoW's!) and most of them appeared to be larger than the those at the show. The truck that I got fairly near to was a very small vehicle really (It wasn't a car or a trailer, but a small self powered vehicle with a cab and a pole behind it that was up in the air). The equipment at the bottom and the sectors high up seemed to be far more substantial on the Google images I saw.

It could have been a WiFi network I guess, but I didn't see a public one advertised anywhere.

Sorry I can't be more detailed. Hopefully someone here might have some ideas.

Many thanks,

Ryan

There's up to 250,000 expected at Cleethorpes at the weekend, say goodbye to phone service then.

I going to that on Saturday weather permitting. I wonder whether any networks will install any temporary masts for the weekend? I'll take my mobile with me which is on Three and see if it works. My Mum is on O2 so it will be interesting to see which network fairs better.
