The straightforward answer to this is Three's 321 PAYG product: http://www.three.co.uk/Store/SIM/Pay...=3mainprbn1244
3p for call, 2p for SMS and 1p for data. No need to covert to add ons or the like. |

you may as well go with Three network when it comes to the normal Payg because Three is 3, 2, 1 not 3, 3, 1.

As others have said, Three is the cheapest. Just make sure that it has coverage in the places where you plan to use it.
Delight has the same prices but uses the EE network. Their customer service seems worse than most. Earlier this year they introduced a 90 day expiry for credit you purchase. The other operators will void credit but only after 180 days (typically) of not using the phone. Free or bonus credit tends to expire after 30 days. All the PAYG tariffs and some useful info can be found on my web site. -- Pete Forman https://payg-petef.rhcloud.com/ |

I'm with Three PAYG myself, which is good enough for me. However, another one to look for is Talkmobile, and despite being an MVNO, is owned by Vodafone and on their network.
What's interesting is that despite being 8p per minute for phone usage, 4p per text and 2p per MB, after the initial connection charge of 10p, the rest of the call is free up to 60 minutes. After the hour, then it's 8p per minute. Just might be of interest to the OP. Talkmobile order sim page with price details. |
