I was hoping something similar to "Californication" but it's not. However, I'm not disappointed, it's very melodic and easy listening album. Won't be many hits though.

Have heard it but won't buy it. There is no stand-out track. Certainly no Californication or By The Way

I love Dark Necessities, but it's still not a standout track.

This was a very good album in my opinion, their best since by the way. I not really liked much of their recent stuff but this was more reflective and chilled out. I almost see it as the album that should have come after by the way, more mature sound than the trying to be 20 again. I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10 and I am glad the album went in this direction, their best in years I think.
