Virgin

Hi! I was wondering if anyone can help. I have been looking at the virgin phone tarrifs and was wondering whether someone could tell me the meaning of something. Go here http://www.virginmobile.com/mobile/s...ff/tariff.html
And look for this: Mobiles from other network operators¹
It's just below Picture Messages. Can anybody tell me what this is? Is it calls to other networks or what?

¹ Includes calls and texts to Guernsey, Jersey & Isle of Man

Some Nokia phones can send text messages up to 3 times as long as normal. They’ll be delivered as separate messages, so you’ll be charged for each.

And other brands including Sagem, and if sent to another phone capable of sending larger messages, they will be received as one long message. Though if you start to read the message as soon as the first part comes in, the phone will display updating message as the 2nd part comes in, and then again as the 3rd part comes in.
