Jeez Ashley Williams is a liability so much nowadays.
I wish we could get rid of him.

Coleman needs to sub Williams. He's a liability if he's injured.

I hope they grab an equaliser. Wales have scarcely done anything to merit a win here and nobody wants to go out on an OG.

Somebody needs to tell Ashley Williams that every minute he plays now with that damaged shoulder reduces his chances of playing in the quarter final.

i think a 2nd wales goal is more likely than an equaliser...

Northern Ireland have done nothing for the last 20 minutes or so though.

Ashley and Jonny Williams would be heading for ten minutes in the sin bin in a rugby match for using no arms in the tackle

Ref shouldn't be stoping play if a player stupidly collides with his own player imo. He could have just prevented Ireland from getting back in the match.

Not even if one or both players are knocked unconscious?

Hennessey just caught the ball, Savage. He didn't win the Nobel Peace Prize.

For sure, but Wales were the big favourites. This would be a fairly ugly win (especially for a team which won its group)

You'd go hard on Ashley Williams if you were Laferty now, wouldn't you...?

They should get the ball back where they were really - not given back to the 'keeper.

Far too slow from Northern Ireland. Get the cross in!

Coleman needs to assert his authority and take Ash Williams off. He's a passionate captain but we need him for any quarter final if we do make it now.

McGovern up for the corner!

And it's a poor one.

And Wales have won!

Not good enough from Northern Ireland. Wales just about deserved the win.

Not the best match by a long way, but well done Wales.

Not how I wanted Wales to win, but well done to Wales.

Well done Wales. Really feel for Northern Ireland but they can hold their heads high.

Plus they had 2 man advantage. If ref stops play then he should give them the ball back where it started and both players should be not allowed back on the pitch for around 5 mins once they have recovered.

Wales won't have won over any new fans with a performance like that. Looked a very ordinary side, bar Bale.
