Backing iPhone up to pc via iTunes
I need to back my phone up so I can do a factory reset. Question is when I back it up to my shared home pc will everyone be able to see what I had in my bookmarks, pics, apps etc ?

That entirely depends on whether you have every user with their own log in or not. If everybody uses the same login then they see the same files and folders. If they use separate logins then they only see their files and folders plus any shared folders. Though any user with Administrator rights may be able to see other users files.
iTunes should store it's stuff in a user folder so in theory only the user who created those files or an Administrator can see them. |

Don't quote me but I think you can do an encrypted back up, where you need a password to be able to use the backup. I can only assume this would protect the data stored on the PC, and stop it from being viewable.

Encrypted backups have the advantage that they contain iDevice passwords - so these won't need to be reentered after the restore |
