Maybe not all of what's on Netflx is worth watching but I would not say there's nothing on Netflix. I use Netflix a few times a week so dose my sister.
This thread is just a waste of time. Darren

I agree. Netflix needs to do better. None of the series or movies I would like to watch is there.
Monk, Poirot, Marple, Little house on the Prairie, Columbo, Jessica Fletcher, Hitchcock presents, Midsomer murders, Walking dead, Hart to Hart, Psych,.. Nothing.. And documentaries. I would love documentaries on ex. Amelia Earhart, Moors murders, unsolved historical crimes, Lindbergh "kidnapping", royal history, Versailles, historical artwork and so forth. I even tried to search for Game of Thrones, since my son thought it is so good. I know I would hate it, but it wasn't on netflix anyway, so. I realise they can't have it all, but not even one little show or movie of interest have I found, Ok, I am lying. I watched the series called Scream, and also watched a movie called Hush. ![]() The biggest thing Netflix has done however is break up the cosy cable/satellite system where it has forced major players to launch stand alone streaming options at much reduced prices. Choose the cheapest and best broadband provider and opt in and out of SKY, Netflix and Amazon and it will offer vastly more content and save you money at the same time. |

The problem I have with Netflix is the limited choice you get compared with other countries e.g. USA
When people who paid for an unblocking service were able to gain a wider choice it became a lot more attractive. However, since their blocking policy became active the choice has declined considerably. Which in my case coincided with a price hike. What made it worse was the lies I got from Netflix when I complained. Their 'line' was that there would be no need for unblocking content as everyone would receive the same amount of choice. A blatant lie as a recent visit to the US showed me exactly how much more you get for your dollar if you live over there.! |

Another development from Netflix has been making native original content in European countries using native production companies and actors but also showcasing it across international regions. Netflix at least should be congratulated for trying to break up the system that US studios have held over domestic and international distribution and given millions a cheaper alternative to accessing it. |

As has already been mentioned hardly anyone is happy with their own regions and all seem to think others are better. Head to the US and they think Canada and the UK are better, etc etc.

Yes of couse NF is the poundland of TV. A company that has Disney and Marvel exclusive rights, is probably making some of the best TV out there, they must be so cheap.
