Randolph has done well today.

Whats the point of making a sub with 30 seconds left

Ireland need a goal so pass it backwards. Dear me.

France have got through.

Ireland couldn't hold on - but, my goodness, they tried.

Sadly, the die was cast when they completely lost their composure in the first 15 minutes of the second half.

England would give this lot a game.

The red card was a killer for Ireland. They could at least have made a game of it at 11 vs 11

Yeah, been impressed with him.

Shame Ireland are out, but it was a huge ask to think they would knock out the home team.

Well done for the first half Ireland. Second wasn't good enough though.

Good effort from the Irish but not to be.

This French side are well beatable, though.

Indeed. In fact I think they may be able to sneak a 1-0 against Ireland.

Great effort.....brilliant fans. Fair result after that second half from France, but sad to see them going home.

That was the risk. 11 v 11 at 3-1 or 2-1 to 10.

Heroics by the ten men to stay in it till the end. When a goal was needed or your out of the tournament, O'Neill should have bought on Keane. The fairytale may just have happened.

I have to say the ROI looked completely outclassed.

It would have been a complete travesty, if they had won.

Not based on the first half. In the second half it was the first 15 minutes that killed Ireland.
