The number of suspensions they'll have to deal with if they do get through is one ramification. |

Remarkable first half - and one that really couldn't have gone better for Ireland.
France have really been the architects of their own downfall; they gave away a silly penalty, fell into the Irish trap of not letting them play and really haven't found any sort of rhythm whatsoever. Ireland have simply taken advantage of that - but they've played very well to do so. |
