Duffy sent off. Ireland's job even harder.

Think id have done the same then he was obviously gonna score least this way there still in the game barring they don't score the free kick

Probably done the right thing to take the red. 3-1 and it's over

Just to get back onto the Pogba debate ... I really rate the guy .

He's got everything a modern midfielder needs with the added hint of genius and invention .

It was exactly what Keane was saying the other day.

Bit of much needed defensive experience for Ireland with John O'Shea coming on.

2-1 is just about recoverable with ten men, anything more and that'll be it.

Credit to the French, they did mount the response at the start of this second half and Ireland succumbed to the pressure.

No they're not. It was surefire 3-1 if he didn't stop them

Actually in fairness to Duffy he timed it well enough that it was a free rather than a penalty.

Giroud throwing himself over like a tart and then getting hit on the head from that free-kick is the best thing of the weekend.

This French kid who's come on looks like a kinda upgraded version of Sterling

I'm sure he won't care after that fabulous layoff for the second goal ..

Ireland are all over the place now. They played so well in the first half but have looked clueless in this half.

Don't want to speak too premature as Iceland may beat us but think quarters is the best we can hope for don't fancy our chances against this lot especially with our crap defence
