Can anyone recommend an android phone for £150 or less. Wanting to move back from Windows phone. I been searching but can not make my mind up.

how rigid is the £150 limit ?
there are some outstanding budget android phones out there but they creep up towards the £200 mark. You can get a Sony Xperia M4 for around £160 at the moment. The Moto G would be the next best option as they're usually under £150. |

Probably the Moto G then, but then are you particularly fussed about second hand ?
Your options would increase massively if you were happy to get a phone out of CEX. Check out this search from CEX with the upper limit being £149 https://uk.webuy.com/search/index.ph...1-149&op=1-800 |

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy J5 in January and have found it a great phone with great battery life.
When I was looking it was very close between this and the Motorola but I went with this phone as it was slightly thinner and I decided it would fit slightly better in my pocket. |

Nexus 5X is down to £180 just now albeit 16GB no sd slot.
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/5234792.htm Or Huawei Honor 5X if you want SD slot. http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/nav/b...phones/pb/03/0 |

Don't ever buy a phone from CeX. It will either be damaged or from a foreign country, or both!

the Huawei P8 Lite is between £80 and £100 on PAYG at the moment at the carphone warehouse (depending on PAYG upgrade or buying on PAYG with the required topup) or £160 fully unlocked.
unlock codes can be found on ebay for less than £4 so at £80-£100 its a very good price to me https://www.carphonewarehouse.com/hu...ck&dealType=pg |

Well I have had another look and the Argos deal for the Nexus 5x for £179.99. I will just have to spend some of the wife's housekeeping. It looks like a bargain. It says expandable memory on Argos website. Is this correct

The Honor 5X looks a better phone to me. http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3...&idPhone2=7556 |

The Vodafone Smart Ultra 6, £99, probably have to buy a £10 top up, unlock code is around £1.50. Virtually stock Android, expandable memory, 16gb internal storage. Makes the Sony M4 look like an overpriced waste of money.
Overall the SU6 is one of the best sub £200 phones, just happens to be available for under £100. If they could squeeze an NFC chip on to it, maybe in the next incarnation, and keep that low pricepoint, it could arguably blow the other budget phones out of the water. OP, get the Smart Ultra !

The Wileyfox Swift and Storm are reasonably priced for the spec and reviews look generally very favourable.

Vodafone has launched the £135 Smart Ultra 7 today (I've reviewed it here: https://jmcomms.com/2016/06/27/revie...smart-ultra-6/ )
And tomorrow, Wileyfox launches at least one new phone. Then there's the £150 Honor 5C also going on sale. So, maybe hold off until later in the week before buying anything as there are lots of choices! |

Not on mine, so I am now a little confused why Vodafone would say otherwise.
The phone was already on sale in some other Vodafone markets, and mine came with a European charger so I am now going to check in case the UK model has it. Bloody Vodafone! |

Sounds like it's not enough of an improvement over the Ultra 6, which I've got but having had a ZTE phone before I'm not expecting it to last much longer than the guarantee period.
And is that cannabis? https://jmcomms.files.wordpress.com/...tultra7-31.jpg https://goo.gl/photos/VECjtAkr3pEgqKFd8 I hope I don't get raided now by someone thinking it is! Maybe I won't take photos like that again.
