Has anyone had any problems with dead pixels on plasma tv's?

I was very wary of this when i was intereted in buying a plasma, but still decided to get one.
It has been heavily used and it is still PERFECT 19 months later

i would strongly recommend getting one, they are great!

most displays have a couple of DP's. Its not a fault its just how they are made.

on plasma dead pixels don't make that much of difference, unlike LCD. the best way to get rid of any dead or inactive/damaged pixels, is to run a primary colour DVD disc (available from your local independent Plasma Centre) which flashes RED/GREEN/BLUE colours for about 20 mins, this intensive workout normally fixes the majority or dead cells on plasma and LCD.

I assumed the name "dead pixels" indicates that the pixel doesn't work whatsoever?
