Problems with plasma tv's
Has anyone had any problems with dead pixels on plasma tv's?

I was very wary of this when i was intereted in buying a plasma, but still decided to get one.
It has been heavily used and it is still PERFECT 19 months later ![]() i would strongly recommend getting one, they are great! |

most displays have a couple of DP's. Its not a fault its just how they are made.

Yeah i get mine delivered on Tuesday so hopefully everything goes perfect

on plasma dead pixels don't make that much of difference, unlike LCD. the best way to get rid of any dead or inactive/damaged pixels, is to run a primary colour DVD disc (available from your local independent Plasma Centre) which flashes RED/GREEN/BLUE colours for about 20 mins, this intensive workout normally fixes the majority or dead cells on plasma and LCD.

Yeh its like a little black dot on the screen. can be very annoying. Thanks for advice ill keep it in mind if i get any problems - hopefully not tho
