This is really weird...
I just got one of these splitters to be able to run the signal from my Sky box out to another TV:

It does the job fine, but as soon as it's connected, the remote control for my TV (Toshiba Regza) completely stops working. If I want to switch source, adjust volume, turn it off, I have to use the buttons on the side of the TV, which continue to work fine.
I have literally no idea why an HDMI splitter would have any effect on the TV remote... has anybody else?
