Cesc wasn't even hit in the face. Hate it when players do that. It's cheating plain and simple.😠

de rossi looks like ragnar lothbrok in vikings.
Ragnar attempted to conquer Paris, and failed.

Crap commentary from the BBC as per usual. Incredibly biased towards Spain.

Hopefully Italy win by miles to humiliate these dolts in the commentary box.

italy have to take chances like that... it's a long time to defend 1-0 against this lot.

One of Cuneyt Cakir's more questionable decisions there.

Really ugly bit of play from Fàbregas, pretending to be hit in the face to get Pellè an undeserved booking.

Get the impression from this referee Spain could con their way back into the game.

This referee is an absolute cretin! Shambolic officiating and at an international tournament no less. What a clown!

Wow. On what plane of existence does Eder not get a free kick there?

Silva should have been booked for that horrendous late tackle.

de Gea lets it spill!

No harm done though.

Fabulous opportunity for the Italians to wrap this up again.

Oh, Italy should have been out of sight in this game. All set up for a lousy piece of refereeing and a Spanish equaliser.

Spanish just throwing themselves to the ground a little too often now.

Its really embarrassing to watch players throwing themselves on the floor and pretending to be hit to get players booked.

Italy impressed me during the group stages (when results mattered at least) and I expected them to win today if they stayed at that level. They will give Germany a very difficult time in the quarterfinals.

Spain have created next to nothing. Italy have this well under control.
