I'm sorely tempted to give the second half a swerve.

This is a phenomenal display by Iceland. Many a small team would have bottled it after going one down.
We gave them a way back after 34 seconds. If we had held them off for longer they may have started to wilt.

I guess France were losing to Ireland at half time yesterday.

Hasn't it always been that way?
Sadly yes.

Time for changes at Half Time again

Send Sterling back to oblivion and bring Vardy on

I'd change the keeper but we probably need to keep that option for the outfield players

How quick can we get Eddie Jones over from Australia to do a team talk?
Talk or bark at them? Wet blankets need the hair dryer treatment.

Stan Collymore: "At the moment I am seeing a complete disconnect between the England midfield unit of Rooney and Dier and Dele Alli and the three attacking players. And with those two disconnected, the chances aren't going to be created. The substitutions will be made at half time."

Seems like England have bottled it instead, from 1-0 up.

Hodgson is a committee manager for a committee team.

The manager has to be a loony.

On the bright side, we're only two penalty decisions away from winning 3-2.

No creativity at all, we are just a mess.

No point in having the ball, if you don't have a plan or a clue what to do with it.
You've got to come up with a new line.

Kind of reminds me of the Cameroon game in Italia '90. 2-1 down against opposition we were expected to brush aside. Eventually they tired and we edged through, and I still feel that can happen tonight.

So much for all the pundits saying that England needed an early goal

No stoppage time again in half with three goals. UEFA refs don't even know the basic rules of the game.

Half time, absolutely dreadful from England. As usual, England are embarrassing in tournament football.
