Rumours that Rooney and vardy have fallen out over the high profile Mrs vardy seems to be developing, Rooney thinks it may be bad for squad morale.

That stat about England not having won a knockout match since 2006 is slightly misleading given that England have only played two since then and they've been against Germany and Italy.
I like the fact that Pougatch said they weren't going to patronise Iceland yet they haven't done anything but patronise Iceland in their coverage since. |

Would you want to play the best 10 in this game?
my main gripe is that the top sides/managers seem to know their best xi and they stick with it unless there's a suspension or injury or maybe a tactical change where there may be one alteration, perhaps two... with roy he doesn't appear to have a clue what our best xi is, what our best formation is etc and that's why we will never beat one of the top sides in this tournament imo. there is nothing settled about our team at all. |

I like the fact that Pougatch said they weren't going to patronise Iceland yet they haven't done anything but patronise Iceland in their coverage since. He did then follow it up by saying that England put themselves in the same bracket as Germany, Spain, etc but he should have finished by saying "and that's the problem because we don't have the record to match theirs so we obviously shouldn't consider ourselves equal". I want England to win this game but their media do come out with some rubbish as soon as their team plays halfway decent. |

Roy says Sterling's in because we need width. No other option because he only chose one proper wide player in the squad

Clyne is so much better than Walker. Walker is just an athlete in football boots.

Well, the time for excuses is over Roy.
If we cant break this lot down, time to rebuild. If we can. |
