He's a football coach too, that's the job he lost.

Iceland will be shitting themselves now Wilshere is coming on

I hope we either play well second half and win convincingly (fat chance), or we lose. Don't want us to scrape a goal and win after extra time and Hodgson pretends all is well

England made an arse of it too taking Rashford instead of Carroll.

England like to think they play good football but they dont they are the epitome of average and what they need is a big battering ram like Carroll to stick the nut on a cross.

His assistant manager role for an Icelandic side. We'll still hopefully get his unique take on this match later.

Wilshire's coming on! The day is saved. 4-1 down by the 55th minute...

Sadly though, in this instance they are right.

Neither goal was of magical quality, one of a disastrous defensive cock up, the other was a goal that a Sunday league keeper should have saved.

Here comes Wilshere for Dier

Vadry should be on

I agree about the bias from ITV against Iceland. They are playing well.

Let's hope the seven days since Wilshere played against Slovakia have enabled him to find a big chunk of match sharpness.

Difference before this match- Iceland are having the time of their lives, England are thinking, we better not lose this or it'll be embarrassing.

Psychology and all that...

Wilshere for Dier?

Hodgson wants to leave his post, obviously.

Disagree about Rashford, the lad hasn't had a real chance here, and I say that as a guy who like Andy a lot.

To save the tournament we bring on someone who's hardly played...wonderful
